Specialties Korean BBQ a la burritos, rice bowls, salad bowls, and noodle bowls. History Established in 2014. Korilla BBQ sprouted out of a used falafel truck in October 2010 with a group of Stuyvesant High School friends. Known for its customizable Korean rice bowls and burritos, the tiger-striped trucks roam the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Four years later, Korilla opened its first brick and mortar in the East Village. With an indoor operation, Korilla expanded its menu offering, focuses more on seasonal ingredients and authentic Korean flavors.
